In my shameless love affair with foodblogs it's hard to miss this enormous charity hosted by ChezPim, which funds the UN World Food Program to feed the hungry. It is a nice feeling to give, even just a little, during the holiday season (or really anytime at all) while we're giving thanks for how fortune many of us are. I encourage you to take a little look-see here to find out more about this charity. And in addition to the warm fuzzy feeling you'll get from giving, there are also prizes as the charity is set up as a virtual raffle, every $10 buys you a ticket for a prize of your choice. And the prizes are AWESOME. There is everything from cooking classes worth thousands, Kitchen Aid Mixers, cookbooks, dinner reservations, home baked care packages, week-end getaways, and just about thing else you can imagine pertaining to food. Some are regional, but there are so many you could spend all afternoon reading about them. You can check out the whole list of prizes here. I bought two tickets, both from Europe raffles... I'm vaguely hoping that increases my chances due to the ratio of English foodblog readers in Europe.... The boxes are closed the 21st, so hurry up, and results are announced on the 9th of January!
